Who built this
I’m a software developer in Canada. I’ve spent a lot of time in real estate investor groups, and one complaint came up over and over: nobody has time to run the numbers on every listing.
So the good deals go to whoever checks first. I built Prop Hound to do that checking for you, every night. You save the hours, and you see the deals that fit your numbers while they’re still new.

How much does Prop Hound cost?
Starter is $79 a month or $790 a year, and checks 1 market. Investor is $149 a month or $1,200 a year, and checks 3, with text alerts. Both plans track your rentals: up to 5 you already own on Starter, no limit on Investor. Both plans get the same 30-day guarantee.
Which plan should I pick?
If you're only buying in one city, Starter covers it. Pick Investor if you want more than one market, texts the moment a deal passes, or to track more than 5 rentals you already own. You can switch any time, and your trial includes everything in Investor either way.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 7 days. We need a card to start, but you won't be charged until day 8. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.
What is the First Deal Guarantee?
If we don't find a deal that passes your own numbers in your first 30 days, you get every dollar back. Your numbers need to be set up so we can check your market. To claim it, email us within 14 days after the 30 days end. It covers finding a deal, not buying one. The full terms are in the Terms of Service.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from your account any time. You keep access until the end of the time you've already paid for. If you cancel during your free trial, you keep access until the trial ends and you're never charged.
What is a price alert?
Some listings almost fit your numbers. We show you the closest ones. Pick one to watch, and we email you if its price drops to where it does fit.
Is it worth the money?
Here's an example. If a rental cash flowed $400 a month, that would cover a year of Starter in under three months. Real cash flow depends on the property and on your numbers, so this is not a promise. And if we don't find a deal that clears your own numbers in your first 30 days, you get every dollar back. The guarantee section below says how to claim it.
Can I expense it for my business?
It may count as a business expense once you're actively buying or holding rental property. Ask your accountant. If you're buying for a business, tick "I'm purchasing as a business" on the payment page. Your invoice then shows your business name and tax ID. Your first paid invoice is dated day 8, when the free trial ends. You can download invoices from your billing page.
Do you give refunds after the first 30 days?
The guarantee covers your first 30 days. After that, you can cancel any time to stop future bills. We don't refund months you've already paid for.
