Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This is a plain-English summary of how Prop Hound handles your information. It covers what we collect, why, and what we don’t do with it.

What we collect

  • Account info: name, email, and password (handled securely through Firebase Authentication, we never see or store your raw password).
  • Your investment criteria: target market, price range, and return thresholds you set.
  • Usage data: basic analytics on how the site is used, to help us improve it.

How we use it

  • To run your nightly deal screening and show you matched properties.
  • To email you when a new deal matches your criteria.
  • To improve the product and understand what’s working.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell your personal information to third parties.
  • We don’t share your criteria or account details with other users.

Third parties we use

We rely on a small number of service providers to run Prop Hound: Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage, and an email provider to send you deal notifications. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Your choices

You can update or delete your account information at any time from your profile page. If you want your account and data fully removed, contact us and we’ll take care of it.
